  • Quarterly email newsletter with Assistive Technology updates.
  • Two Assistive Technology training sessions per year at CESA 7 at a reduced cost.

The CESA 7 Assistive Technology Consultant is available to provide awareness, consultation, and training on a wide variety of subjects including:
  • Assessing a student's need for assistive technology (ASNAT)
  • Writing assistive technology into the IEP
  • Implementing assistive technology into a child’s curricular programming
  • No/Low cost solutions to support UDL in the classroom
  • Creating visual supports to support students with autism in the classroom

  • Assistive technology to support the Early Childhood Classroom
  • Low tech communication solutions
  • Technical assistance and training on hardware devices and software programs
All services are provided by Patti Lindstrom Drescher, CESA 7 Assistive Technology Consultant. Patti is an occupational therapist who has specialized in Assistive Technology for 18 years. She holds a Masters Degree in Assistive Technology from George Mason University and is a certified Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) by the Rehab Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of America (RESNA)
